Loading Particle Systems

Particle system loading was broken for a while due to a GameMaker bug that made room_get_info() return a particle system instance instead of the asset. This has been fixed in v2024.14.1, and particle systems can be now loaded correctly again.

  • Added support for loading Particle Systems.
  • Added a new PARTICLES member to the ROOMLOADER_FLAG enum.
  • Added a new .Particles() State Builder method.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the bugged “Refactor references to asset name when asset is renamed in Asset Browser” Feather directive breaking macros that use string template syntax, which caused compile errors.
